Objective

To ensure readiness for the proposed Finance & Technology SEZ designation is built deliberately across five dimensions, rather than assumed.

Implementation Phases

1

2027

Baseline Readiness Mapping

Baseline readiness is mapped across infrastructure, human capital, business ecosystem, capital and institutions.

2

2028

Gap-Closing Investment

Investment and partnerships target the specific gaps identified in the baseline mapping.

3

2029

SEZ Master Plan and Feasibility Study

The formal Master Plan and Feasibility Study are developed, incorporating readiness findings.

4

2030

Designation Process

Formal designation is pursued through the legally applicable process and competent authorities.

Institutional Role

Coordinated with relevant federal SEZ/free-zone authorities, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, and private-sector and development-partner stakeholders.

This is a proposed government policy, not adopted policy. It should not be represented as official government policy unless and until formally adopted by the relevant authorities.
