Objective
Facilitate partnerships with commercial banks, development banks, microfinance institutions, cooperatives and fintechs to improve MSME access to finance, and expand local-enterprise participation in public procurement within applicable law.
Approach
Government does not become a lender. It builds the mechanisms, data and relationships that make it easier and safer for existing financial institutions to lend to local businesses, and easier for those businesses to reach public and private markets.
